all this world can offer

is half-baked satisfaction
your animal instinct will have it's thrills
but your heart will long for something more.
even as you get the highest high
there is more to climb.
just one more step and you'll be
just one more step behind

if you conquered everything in the world
you'd soon realize that everything has control over you.
there is no master but existence itself.
we all serve some kind of God
be it money, power, sex, heroin
it's all quite the same, except love.

man is set out to kill himself.
he longs for freedom from existence.
he wishes to change the unchangeable
to be free of morality
yet live in peace.
he wishes for the piece of God he has been given
to be torn apart and reshaped for his convenience
and still be the same as it was before.

get rid of everything. claim what's yours.
your heart, the only thing that matters in the end.
everything will fade no matter what struggle you make to save it
nothing comes with you through those pearly gates.
