The world lost
A good one today

When it lost you
A beautiful soul
With an amazing heart
And a mind
So brilliant
And beautiful
It could blow the minds
Of even the most

Insightful
Yet somehow
Always so much
Beyond just
Simply humble
Every word

You ever said
Or wrote
Said more
Than most

Could ever
Hope to express
In their lifetime
And every word
Was a thing
Of sheer beauty

And brilliance
One could not
Help but pay attention
And be entranced
We may have
Never met
No unfortunately
I never had the honor
But like so many others
You touched me too
And for that
I thank you
RIP Maya Angelou
The world
Will forever
