How we treat others
Says alot about us
And so far
In my 29 years
As far as I can tell
With the exception
Of some really
Amazing people
When it comes
To society
The treatment
Of others
Is less than
Desirable
We care too much
About being
Better than
Everyone else
And showing it
And too little
About helping
The poorest
Of people
We label
Them lazy
And not worthty
But we never stop
To think even
For a second
About what
They may
Have been through
For all you know
They could have
Worked harder
Than you
Their whole life
Just to have it
Not be good enough
Then there are
Those who think
They have the right
To tell others
Who they can
And cannot love
It makes me sick
And it makes
Me wonder
Tell me society
In the future
When today because
Tomorrows history
What do you think
People will have
To say about us
Because at the moment
In my opinion
It doesn't look good
the other day
I asked myself this same question... looking back in to history seeing all the wonderful things man have done.. of course theres all the tragedys as well..but the whole question in it self.. what is being done today thats so great, it will be worth looking back on in 50 years or so..we are destorying ourselfs more today then ever before.. and its just really sad when you think about it..
