That does seem
To elude me
More times
Than not
When it is up
And able to be seen
So bright
In the sky
No words
Can describe it
Like tonight
It glows so
Damn brightly
As if it is
Trying to
Tell me

Show me
What I am
Meant to see
A sign
Of peace
A sign
Of strength
And of unity
A sign to
Tell me
Exactly
What I
Should be
Spreading
With what
Little I have
A sign
Of the
Hope I should
Be spreading
To everyone
That I see
A sign that says
Quite simply
I am me
I am the
Only me
I know
I can be
And with
All I am
I will
Fight to see
The peace
Of which
I not just seek
But also
Nightly dream
