May we never forget
The day as a nation
We all cried
May we never forget
The day a part of
All of us died
May we never forget
The day that changed
Us all forever
The day we all came together
To mourn as one
May we never forget
The evil that on
That day was done
Or the lives lost
At the hands
Of the evil ones
But may we also never forget
How in the wake of tragedy
We stood as one
Proud and tall
American strong
And as a nation
Refused to fall
