We Need To Quit Playing The Blame Game

The world craves a balance
Between good and evil
That we lost control
Of far too long ago
And instead of taking
The blame for it
Our damn selves
We would rather
Just point fingers
At each other
Because
Clearly
It is not the blame
Of ourselves but the
Blame of each other
For why we must suffer
We all share
Our part of the blame
For society
Treating life
As nothing more
Than a game
Everyday
Seeing
How many
Points one can gain
Just to get ahead
In life's insane

And fucked up game
Yet those who
Do choose
To live this way
Refuse to admit
And accept
Their part of the blame
This world needs
A major change
In the worst way
But believe me

My dear society
That change
Will never see
The light of day
Until we all
Take our share
Of the blame
For needing it
So badly

Sometimes no one is blaming

Sometimes no one is blaming but people act defensively through their own need for healing. Sometimes people are just telling a story for the sake of history. I do not see need for defensiveness in so many things that have nothing to do with me. What others say, do, is a reflection of who they are. Nothing personal unless you I make it personal.

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "
