Black or white
Wrong or right
Tell me world
Does it matter tonight
Should it matter
Now or ever
In a world
So filled with peril
Drowning in pools of sorrow
A world in which
Far too many
Will not get to see
Another tomorrow
After becoming victims
Of a world
That has become
Oh so shallow
A world in which
So much of humanity
Has become so hollow
They just can't see
The true dangers of
Their own hypocrisy
And that their own
Concept of conformity
Is based more on insanity
Than what is best for society
Can't you see
My dear society
The only hope
For you and me
Is setting our
Own selves free
Letting our minds
For themselves think
And instead of living
Lives full of hating
From ourselves
As well as others
We start learning
