The insanity
Of society
Is very simple you see
We don't understand it
Therefor we hate it
Try to kill it
Try to destroy it
Without even trying
To ever understand it
And what gets me
Is our failure to see
The flaws in
That way of thinking
Hating without seeing
Judging without knowing
Please tell me
I am not the only one
Who sees this
As insanity
Our society
Is currently
Run by nothing
But more and more greed
And society
Please listen to me
That greed
Will never make us happy
And that peace
We claim to seek
Can only be
If we reject our greed
And learn to live selflessly
And finally work
Together to see
A better world
For you and me
