I may see things
Differently than most
But regardless
Love and tolerance
I will proudly show
I know hate is wrong
And that as long
As society believes
In the same old song
Better we will
Never become
The damage may be done
But we can still right the wrong
Opposing the rights
Given to those who are straight
When it comes to gays
Is nothing short of insane
We are all human
At the end of the day
And are all part of the human race
Which means our basic needs
Are essentially the same
Love is love
And you can't see that
Than it you can shove
Because the insanity isn't
Who we choose to love
But how numb to the hate and violence
We have become
