The demons of yesterday
Determine who we are today
But it shouldn't be that way
No matter what they've done
Or what they've said
They should never determine
How we live day to day
We are who were are meant to be
And should never hide
Behind hate or lies
In who we are
We need to take pride
And finally let our true selves shine
