In society

No need

So many wars

Violence

We convince
Ourselves
It is necessary
That we
Just seem
To damn

Blind to see

That all it does
Is kill innocents
And destroy
You and me
So much suffering

We pretend
Not to see
So many cries
We choose
Not to hear
And the
Reason
For any of it

Too insane

To be clear
There is a
Crisis
Going on here

And not only

Are we the ones

To blame for it
But we are also
The only ones
Who can fix it
So come on
Society
Get with it
