And often wonder
How so many

Have forgotten
How we have
Come so far
We fought

For equal rights
Yet today
We still

Aren't equal
We fought racism
And yet
Even now
In 2015
Racism
Is an evil
That is still
Happening
We have fought
For a better world
And yet
It is still something
We are just
Not seeing
We fought
The opressors
Then we voted
For new ones
We fought
The dictators
Then once again
Elected new ones
When will it be enough

When will we
Finally see
That our very own
Democracy
Needs
A complete
Make over
Before the real
Change that needs
To happen
Can ever truly
Be seen
