You may not ever truly understand me,
And that is ok because I will never understand you,
And what you do the things you do,
Everything I am today is because life made me this way,
And because God gave me a heart like he did this is the price I pay.
I wish some times I could be cold and heartless, but that's just not me,
I continue to love and forgive others no matter how much they hurt me.
I am 33 and I am no were close to figuring life out,
But there is a few things I know without a shadow of doubt.
I know that sometimes you can't fix or undo something you did wrong,
You don't know how much strength you have until the only option you have is to be strong.
Sometimes in life people are going to let you down,
And you will let others down too,
In your darkest hour you will find out who is really there for you.
Biting you tongue is better than saying hurtful things out of anger,
That sometimes its not good to push aside and deal with them later.
Scars just show we are stronger than what ever tried to break you,
People can only hurt you for as long as you allow them too.
Don't judge others for the mistakes they have made,
Because just like them, you too will meet your maker one day.
You are only as strong as your greatest weakness,
If you stop and think about it, you're blessed.
It does not matter how many times you fell down only that you was strong enough to get back up again.
Every one needs a shoulder to cry on every now and then.
Don't burn a bridge with someone and expect them to send you a boat,
And don't get mad at them when they don't.
If you're going to do something do it right,
What is done in the dark sooner or later will be brought to the light.
Should of, could of, would of if you let it will eat you alive,
Every now and then we all have to eat humble pie.
Love the people around you God call them home before you are ready for him to,
Not forgiving someone don't hurt them it hurts you.
He who knows everything has a lot to learn,
If you play with fire you will get burned.
You're never to old to play,
Learn something new everyday.
Don't give up on people when they need you the most, even if they don't know that they do,
Pray for the people who hurt you.
You're never to old to dance in the rain,
Admit when you're wrong,
Accept the blame.
Stop and smell the roses, take time to look up at the night sky,
Come to accept sometimes there is no answer to why.
Every one is loved by some one,
Before you judge someone walk a mile in thier shoes.
God made every one special so be proud of who you are,
Dream your dreams, reach for the stars.
Always keep your faith,
Life goes by so fast, so enjoy it, it is not a race.
Life is not all black and white embrace the gray,
And never forget God is always just a prayer away.
