She has a face that shows
Her radiance within.
She is a beautiful person
With laughter in abundance
And a smile that knows no boundaries
She offers a listening ear
And a shoulder
to those who need her most
To her friends and even strangers
there are things that she knows
Things she’s seen
Places she’s been
Not always good
Things that can’t be undone
A broken vessel now rehealing
Now revealing
The women she will be
She is caring and daring
Opinionated and truthful
She is unique in a good way
And that’s why she’s my friend
That’s why we get along
We are both so similar,
But different too
And that’s what keeps things interesting
I’m glad I met her
And I’d tell the world
What a marvelous person she is
And as she moves on through life
She will go through strife
But she will always be glowing
Always showing
Her love that is growing,
