i remember all

that you did

what you showed

all that you hid

i know you lied

you kept it in

yet you cried

deceitful bein'



falling down,

down to the ground

feeling a pain

that surrounds

it overwhelms

origin within

feeling my end

hits its begin



i felt the hurt

that you expressed

harbored remorse

lived all depressed

feeling sorry

for all the done

but you hurt

you were the one



why did i hurt

and shed my tears

for the one

who instilled my fears

you reined me in

you tamed my heart

only to beat

and tear apart

let me go, please

no longer hold

this beast at bay

don't be so bold

let me run

be free again

you know this torture

is inhuman



why do you hurt

with all your lies

why do you try

to close my eyes

and beat my heart

whip with your tongue

i hope you know

this can't be undone

asking myself

just asking why

what did i do

to deserve this

i miss my life

i want my bliss



i'm breaking free

shat-ter-ing bars

tearing the ground

releasing a cry

feeling the light

and overjoyed

now going home

leaving you destroyed
