Shorties I am afraid,
that something inside of me has opened up

the room is full of spirits
The clock on the wall is shaking,
literally rattling,
at 12:34
There is a woman in a blue jumpsuit who
beckons me up the stairs
And I follow her,
but of course,
there is nothing there.

I enjoyed reading this poem because it drew me in and I wanted to know what happened in the end.
