Just before light,
At a card game
I, just the same,
Sat as before
And had evermore.
Five card draw
was dealt as is law;
Losers' expressions,
Winners' impressions
Made no difference
At game of chance.
Drinks have been topped,
Faces chopped,
It's time for the coffee,
On the house, for no fee.
Circle continues
For dumb and the genius,
On this game's end
Do not depend.
Eternity is explained,
But nothing is gained.
