No Place to Go

The Old Stuff

Waxing and waning,

I have watched the moon.

Glowing and fading,

As my heart pines for you.

My watch has stopped.

My passion vanished.

Your clock ticks on.

Your love ever-flowing.

The river floods

With no place to go.

The preserver leaks,

Crafted by an amature.

Sinking,

Sinking in his love.

Downing,

Drowning my heart with tears.

Floating,

Floating to the surface.

Grasping,

Grasping onto nothing.

Nothing.
