whispers ache with truths longing

within loves yearnings
there within moments
that never seem to end
moonlit shadows bend and arc
beneath a mellifluous melody
of whimpered desires
and I am caught there
captivated by your essence
held in sweet misery
wondering where you are
morning comes as
dew births drops of daybreak
upon my window sill
the hours that preceded
still wrapped around me
like a winter coat
