As evening does fall,

dark silence pervades

the heart and soul

where loneliness waits.

And drains the life

of love, left weak

from yearning and longing

for dreams that seem bleak.

And yet throughout space

there whispers a song,

from my heart to yours,

"Keep faithful..be strong.

I am here, always waiting

for the man whom I love.

And here I will stay constant

as the stars far above.

For you, as you need,

my soul song will call.

Right with you, I'll be,

to help you stand tall.

To cherish forever

this love that we hold.

To build dreams together

as we love and grow old."

So when lonely, just listen

for my soul song so true.

I sing it each moment

that I'm far from you.
