MOONLIGHT SONATA

(Italian Sonnet)

My soul, all of sudden, was clearly struck,

By the thoughts of him I think day and night;

I looked up the moon,long for him alright.

In nights like this without him, I'm moon-struck,

Oh, what I would give,to have him again, back

When my heart breaks silently,with much pain

Am I paying a high price for my sins?

Knowing full well,nights can be as jet black.

And nothing will remain occult forever,

'Cause truth illuminates things bright

Overpowering evil spirits and darkness

Giving us instead serene peace wherever

We permit sweet and true love be designed

By mutual truth and respect and none less!
