Your eyes flew
opened sad
when you gazed on
at your land
all around you
being destroyed
by the work
of the evil ones.
People's hopes
had been lost
for so long
and the beauty
of your land
still stands
so forlorn.
For too long
The name of peace
had been vanished,
from your hurting
heartland and
from your silenced
lips,
by too many wars,famines
and the Taliban's terrorist's
cruel regimen.

Wonderful tribute to a people who only want to live in peace. One thing I learned being in the military, people everywhere desire the same thing: A peaceful, decent life free from war and strife To enjoy things we take for granted. That is why America must remain strong So we can free those enslaved from such wrong
yes... people hurting everywhere, oppressed by the few who use their power in wicked ways... ie: Tibet, Guatemala, etc. you wrote this very well. all life is sacred, and if we want our children to have a 'world', now's the time to do something about it! the first key is understanding. eric

Your emotions flow off the pages as a river would flow with tears. You have written about the enemy, the heros, the victims, and the countries...
