THE LOVE ROSE

She had cried

Quietly

So many tears

They run like

Dewdrops

Upon her soft cheeks,

Nobody saw them

So quickly

They left,

As they went rolling

Upon the ground

Under her feet.

Now a single and

Beautiful

Red rose,

Appears from all

Those

Very sad tears,

That once she

Had sheded

Hopeful

Only for Love!

A beautiful poem Dorian. In a few words you captured the lovely scent of a romantic heart. Peace, love and continued blessings...

Such a sad and somber piece with great feeling. I loved the line 'the tears went rolling down her cheeks unto the ground below her feet'. Have you tried to publish any of your work because you have some fasinating reads on your hands!!
