VERSES OF LOVE AND DISPAIR
LIGHTS DISOLVING IN DISPAIR,
AS THE DAY GOES DOWN AND STARTS FADING IN
THE NIGHT,
TURNING ALL MY THOUGHTS INSIDE OUT
AND ALSO PLAYING WITH YOUR MIND.
AND LOVE IS LIKE TWISTED BRANCH,AROUND THE BENT,
WITH ALL THE ROOTS EXPOSED AND LIFELESS,HANGING
THERE IN A STEEP DECLINE,
AND THROWN ACROSS, THERE IS DEAD ROSE STILL ATTACHED
TO PRICKY THORNS.
AND NATURE SMILING BRINGS REPOSE,NOW
UNDER THE BLUE LIGHT OF THE BLUE SKIES,
AND ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL,
PRAISE FOREVER IN WONDER TO THEIR CREATOR, GOD!
