She closes her eyes to hide the visions
Memories to painful to bear
She prays to wake up from her nightmares
Maybe it wasn’t real
He couldn’t have really done it
She goes to stand and feels the blood run down
The world closes in around her
She can still hear his laughter in her ears
Feel his skin on hers
His hands clawing at her like a wild animal
Still hear her screams in her head
Feel him inside of her ripping apart her innocence
Taking away the thing she values most
Her tears falling down as she cries out to God
To please take her from this place
Let her die now in this moment
She can feel the pain growing deeper as time passes
It wasn’t supposed to be like this
Betrayed by her best friend
Tortured and tormented for his pleasure
Left to die alone with nothing left to offer
Her world torn apart ripped at the seams
Will she ever be the same
Can she make the voices inside her stop
Come to grips with what happened
Deal with the pain left behind each day
Bury her sorrow deep inside
Make the memories go away
