Hatred

Such a strong emotion

Running through my body

The poison

Misplaced energy

Consumed my soul

Bringing  the end of me

Or that of which I was

That of what never again will be

I’ve choose to give up

When push came to shove

As shove gave to drag

Dragged me under

Reminded me of the past

And what I never again would do

Chasing one’s shadow

Is a mistake made by fools

In the process you are used

For what can’t be grasped

Running after what can never be had

Is a lesson I’ve already learned

Yet was forgotten

In the process of yearn

Reminded of the burn

Is the sensations of hate

Loathe, despise, scorn, abominate

Are powerful words

Communicating a meaning

An undefined explanation

Of what should never be

Believed in
