Don't fear age

Folder:
English poems

You fear that age may blow away

Your chance for true love not to stray

You fear of youth, that it may steal

What's meant for you - what is so real

No silky skin, nor bright young eyes

Could break the heat and melt the ice

No perfect curves – no none at all

Can make true love come to a stall

In a woman, not in a girl

In her past that once had a swirl

In her eyes it is reflected

All the love she has protected

In sincerity you must see

In true love believe, it is free

Fear not the difference of age

For it's you who controls the stage
