My mother's vow

Folder:
English poems

You gave up so many things

Turned your back on your dreams

You took the noblest vow of being a mom

Six kids, you raised them all

No complaints, asked nothing in return

You showered them with so much love

You crossed so many roads

Each of different trials and pains

But you never gave up on anything

You stood by your man’s side

You became the perfect wife

You were the family’s source of strength

Now your home is filled

With children from your six

And to them you still passed on your love

You gave up so many things

May have regretted a few

But you kept your vow to become the greatest mom
