Who Will Hear?

It was dark and quiet that night.

Her fist clenched tight.

She was crying all alone,

her heart was heavy as stone.

The tears ran down her face,

as if they were in a race.

She thought no one would hear,

but there was a prince with a ear

For the prince heard her silent screams,

and all of his ladyies broken dreams.

The prince wrapped his arms around her

So all she saw was him through the blur

He kissed her her tears away

as she whispered to him “stay”.

In response he whispered into her ear

“I love you, I shall always be here”

For then she fell asleep

With her problems deep

He looked down at his one true love,

wondering how he deserved a dove.

He loved her more than anything,

for she made him feel like a king.

For the prince that heard me, that saved me.
