The first glance at each other

 and we begin to move

carefully stepping in,

a surreal state, fantasy mood,

passionately we advance

willing to fall for another.

then the words begin to come

asking what all is required

tension increases excessive,

accelerated wanting desire

increasing our will ,in time to keep on

walking a tightrope to get to someone.

It takes much balance and much care

walking this tightrope isnt so safe

It's an intense move to be sure

don't look down and be very brave

don't even begin to take a step

unless youfresh willing to risk all to get there.

Some may fall, it's a scary thing to do

falling in love is risky business to cope

I might be taking a huge chance

but I'd walk along a thin tightrope

not regretting the distance to go

just to get next to you.
