KITTEN SEDUCTION.

Beseeching little blue eyes

twinkling softly up at me,

mischief shining in them

like an imp out on a spree.

I can't resist your magic

weaving bonds around my heart.

There's no escaping from it;

I'm captured by your art.

Our God must have such humour

to create your life this way,

to give me great enjoyment

as I watch you when you play.

Your rolling, tumbling antics

can not help but make me smile.

Captivating creature,

you bewitch me and beguile.

The earth is full of beauty,

we just need to take the time

to look at all the wonders,

close eyes against the grime.

A small part of that beauty

is a kitten as it plays,

gambolling light-heartedly

in very funny ways.

A scrap of life so precious,

a bundle of soft fur,

I love to stroke your softness

as you cuddle up and purr.

You know how to seduce me,

to wrap paws around my heart,

sweet kitten, the grand master

of the captivating art.
