You judge me

Because I am different

You refuse to listen

Because I have something to say

You hide from me

Because I am searching for the truth

You run away

Because if the truth is real, you know you will have to change

You hunt me down

Because if I am gone you believe the truth dies with me

You hurt me

Because you want to silence your own doubts



I accept you

Because you deserve a chance

I listen

Because it is our right to speak our minds

I stay in the open

Because I am never alone

I stand firm

Because the truth can't hurt me

I fight

Because it is right

I love

Because it's who I am

I hurt

Because I am human

I learn

Because it is my duty

I'll never back down

Because I CAN'T!
