to drown in the warm, effortless feelings.

 

I want to drown

in this bed

in your bed

in your hair

in your words. 


If you don't

want to drown with me

I want to drown myself.

This worked better in my native language Finnish, but I still wanted to share it. Here's the original version (written last year):

että hukut minuun.

Haluan

että hukumme ensi kesään

ja ensitalven lumeen

ja mereen.

Haluan hukkua

tähän sänkyyn

sinun sänkyysi

hiuksiisi

sanoihisi.

Jos sinä et

halua hukkua,

haluan hukuttautua.

I actually prefer something else to wine also but I like using wine as a 'symbol' on my poems :) Thanks for the comment!

like getting blotto
