Coldest Winter

Snow was falling

Winter was calling

it was near

the begining of a new year

Carefree without a worry

I stumbled into your world

I was on a Journey

my view and look has changed

but so did you

I was proud of the victories I fought

you were not

It started to get colder

I felt your breath upon my shoulder

I begin to thumb through your past

Pictures of fake smiles

it cut and gnashed my contrast

Soon I knew one thing

For you my heart began to sing

After all the feelings and thoughts

slowly I found words to say

I took the step, I was ready for your answer

when you spoke my heart fell and was beating faster

Time went by, Hell froze over

My thoughts grew of you more

Stuck in my head

you left me so sore

Once I became devastated

I never thought id make it

during that time I was numb

I felt nothing

except the cold metal

pressed against my skin

maybe its gods punishment for my sin

the sin of deceit

dennying the one fact

I was in love

and I let her get away

in front of god high above

Never again

ill never forget this

I wont forget the coldest winter of all

the era of my fall...
