Fly

Flying high, wings spread out

Not knowing where I came from

Not knowing where to go.

Surviving by the second

Of what's to come next.

I wish I was a bird.

White and grey with an orange beak

So tourists could see me.

Soaring just below the cloud

And just above the sea.

A messed reflection glitters off the waves

As I can fly away from the tourists.

I wish I was a seagull.

Fly far far away from here

For I am tired

I have become weak of your ignorance.

And all I have to do is beg

So I can fly away

From them and him

I wish I could fly.

Wow, this is by far one of my favorites. It reminds me of Forest Gump because Jenny is always saying she wants to be a bird so she could fly far away. It creates some great imagery. Love it!
