I Didn't Think Of Yo u











I just realized......

I didn't think of you yesterday,

and maybe not even the day before.

D id I think of you at all this week?

I don't know.  Do I care?



I wondered when I'd get here.

Seven months it seems.

A long time, day by day.

Now, looking back....

...just moments ago.



I read a poem about you this week.

But I didn't think of you.

Didn't feel the knife

twisting in my heart.

Emotions have been bled to death.



I don't think of you everyday

not like before.

Just now and then.

The pain that use to be

doesn't quite hurt anymore.
