Ascending Heaven
Every moment,
without us knowing.
the gates to heaven open.
And an invitation is issued forth.
Sometimes.
it is sudden and unexpected
and we are at a loss.
Our hearts grieve deeply.
Sometimes,
it is anticipated,
and gratefully received.
Then, someone leaves the pain of life.
Although it seems
so cold and lonely for us.
We can find comfort in knowing
they have ascended to the arms of God.
So gaze up
into the dark starry skies.
Know that each star in the heavens
is a rememberance of them.

I can't tell you how deeply that touched me. Every moment without knowing...yet God is there and has his arms open, waiting for the entrance of another child. Kim, this one made me cry. I lost an old friend last week. This is really good. Really good.
