My baby,
sick baby
that poor little child
all stuffy and sniffling
while still running wild

I love you
my baby
my pumpkin and joy
but please do not hit me
with that little snotty toy

I adore you 
my darling
though you cough through the night
testing a mothers strength
and giving daddy a fright

So beautiful
my innocent
with a yucky pink nose
so mommy cleans you up
as you run over her toes

My sleepy
unresting
lets take a nap 
all snuggled and cuddled
a bundle in my lap

Your mommy
worn out
how about we rest
nope mommy
gotta finish this test
