Observations

The sun’s flames stain earth’s damask skirts while the skeletons of Summer’s foliage stand brave against Winter’s chill. Gentle winds wash the skies leaving the earth trimmed in the color of a new penny. How impossible! the mighty Rockies, those dangerous mountains are cut off at the knees by a gentle mist. These are signs. Every observation, every interpretation true, everything worth storing. Goose ears are under their wings. Sprinkle salt on a bird's tail and it won't fly away. The sky tells the fate of sailors and butterflies bite. There is a kind of truth in all words.
