I saw through your eyes before you knew I was to live

through my existence your pride was showcased on life's grid

you loved me before I knew what love even meant

and with you forever my heart will be spent

daddy I want nothing more than to see you happy

i know you're sick and soon you will leave me

bearing the thought of the dagger death has drives me mad

i never want to think about my first love being dead

daddy please know I love you so dear

doctors and medicine heal better than beer

my tears are salty and burn my skin

are these leftover regrets from your past sins?
