Is it just a natural low

You saw- they come and leave

you heard them stay and go

       But you never saw them beg and plead!

    and you never saw them kneel and scream!

mercy is only given by Me

Handed out for a priveledged fee

Slaves and prisoners but not so

A god and you see this means something

        But you never saw them love and see!

   and you never saw them chained but free!

Willing servants for an almighty He

Mercy for a lenient fee

discipline the only price for a fitting key

A god and do you know what this means?

         But you never saw them die with wings!

                 And you never saw them fly a w a y
