My grandfather ranch memory
My grandfather is a man that always is trying to have all the family reunited, so he invest a lot of time and money in things that make everyone closer to each other. I remember the days that I spend with my whole family, including cousins, uncles and my grandparents at the ranch, where we run and play many games all together. My grandfather buy the ranch in Santiago N.L, many years ago with the idea that the whole family reunite in there at least on Sundays, and we loved to spend time in that place. I remember the talks during the mealtime, where all the family sit together, and comment of the things that had occurred during the weekend, and everybody express their point of view, and make jokes of everything, just to make the moment better. After the mealtime me and my cousins always run to the soccer field, and we play some matches against each other, the best matches where the ones that my father and uncles decided to play too, because it make that the game was more competitive and fun. After we were done playing the next thing that we usually always did was to get in the pool and have more fun in there. The pool was really cool, because it had a water slide, so we spend hours playing in there. When I remember about the ranch, I remember more about sunny days, actually I cannot remember of cold, rainy or cloudy days, I’m sure that I probably have gone to the ranch in a day with those conditions, but I believe the maybe I didn’t enjoy it that much that I cannot remember it. My grandmother loves animals, so she had many of them at the ranch, there were many different species all over the place, and because I was young I remembered that it looks like a zoo. Some of the animals that my grandparents used to have at the ranch were cows, chickens, horses, goats, dogs, peacocks, many birds in a house for birds, and ostriches. When I remember about the ranch I really want to go back to see how it is now, because I visited in many years, my grandparents told me that they sold many of the animals that where in there due that we stopped going to the ranch due to the insecurity, so there was no point in preserving all the animals in there, for nobody to see them. I’m not the only one of the family that misses those moments, due that many Sundays that we gather all together at my grandparents house, we start remembering many good moments that we spent in there, those talks are really cool, because everybody start telling their experiences and it reminds me of many moments that I didn’t remembered and its actually really fun.
