My grandfather Radio

My Grandfathers Radio
My grandfather kept his radio on his room and every time that it was game day he always grab them and didn’t talk to nobody. The radio meant for him, his time of solitude and relaxation and at the same time he was watching and seeing the love of his life which was Rayados of Monterrey, he was one of the truest fans I have ever met. Every time Saturday comes I went to his house and every day the first thing he grabbed wasn’t the tickets or the keys to his instead what he grabbed was his radio. The radio had a big meaning to him, because he loved hearing the game through the radio as he was watching it, because his sight was a little bit slow and didn’t see very well, so with his radio he knew what was happening. I have always had the image of my grandfather with his radio, I was beside him at all times, as the time passed by he only turned it off on halftime, but when the game was on, his focus was on the game and it was something special, because every time something bad happened he was the first to stand up and being angry on the stands, he and his radio where famous on our section, he didn’t missed any game. His radio was a little but rusty and old, but it was his radio, so it was so special that he was told by my grandmother, that his radio was old and he needed to buy a new one, but that radio was special, because it gave him a lot of memories that came to his mind that all of the games he have been to with his radio on, he always talked to me about which commentator he liked the most, because he was so focused on the game and on his radio, that he didn’t put attention to anyone that was beside him, so in that way he could recognize if the commentator made an error, on saying which player grabbed the ball or what was happening on the game. And sometimes he got to real mad mode and drop the radio to the floor and suddenly stepped off the seat and walked away, obviously coming back in less than a minute, but that was my grandfather a truly by heart fan of the Rayados, so in memory his radio and his image will stay forever on my mind, there will be nothing like his radio, not a thing.
