I had a fright in the middle of the night.
A scare in the middle of a bear.
The bear went "boo!"
"How do you do?"
And ran round the town till his face went blue.
Less scary than this, in the middle of the day,
I noticed all around me, White Horses - Neigh!
Got hoarse, said "shoo!"
"Had enough of you!"
And ran back upstairs to my comfortable igloo.

The genre is English nonsense verse. You can't have a 'scare in the middle of a bear' there is no such thing (except in this genre, perhaps!)
