So many nights like this- I lie awake

Think back to the days I thought I made mistakes

I always have wondered what the right thing was in the end

But for now, I'll live my life and forget the regrets for mistakes I've made



Driving in the car through the city will give you thoughts so interesting

Like the silence in the Summer when you know the trees know soon it'll be Spring



I know I cannot change the things I've done

Really, I am not sure that I would if I could

Where would I be today?

And where would you go?

If I didn't make mistakes...I wouldn't know



So what I'm trying to say is that I wouldn't change a thing

I believe that everything happens the way it should

I know that hurt will all soon turn into meaning

And I'll someday be completely happy with this life that I am leading



I know that it'll all turn out the way it was supposed to in the end

I'll continue living my life, I will not play pretend



I know everything happens for a reason in the end
