My Peaceful Childhood

Letting Go

Moving on

The years have passed but I’m still young

Got my license

Going fast

Watching light poles go whizzing past

Learning lessons

Oh, so true

Looking around for that special ‘You’

Sleeping in

Going to bed late

The days you get up at 6 you start to hate

Playing Sports

Breaking Rules

Getting transferred to different schools

Growing old

But staying young

My peaceful childhood has just begun
