Google Me Friendly

For the past few years of becoming involved with the internet
I, later on noticed in zero point sixteen seconds a tiny request
I had always been one of those to Google my name for a goof
To my names demise, it came to a halt, how sad and polluted
Most of my work was posted, so I would try and find anything
I was merely just glancing for my name next to some poetry
At that time, I actually had not paid attention to small details
Right now I still Google my name, fly by wide eyed and exhale
Though I simply did not have anything to write or say anymore
Ridiculously funny, yet appalling, with Your jaw hitting the floor
Oh there is plenty more trumpery out there to our sappy surprise
But for that brief moment, I smiled, fantasizing on a 'Nobel Prize'
I'm not popular, but I'm sure he is or by the time this poem is read
If this piece is even read at all, either way the name is widespread
So, go ahead, do it, Google my 'zany' name, David Joel Rodriguez
Oh of course, it is really common, but I never would have guessed
Obviously it is not me and what prodigy will bother to further probe
Oh well, face or no face, live and let live, the name is across the globe
Registered he sure is, but, now released, and is required to re-register
With an ironic name that's since been surfacing under the sex offender

Oh...Joel..that's messed up.

Oh...Joel..that's messed up. Hang in there. Just imagine...some of them are 18 year olds who kissed a 17 year old once too many times.

...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "

When I googled your name, I found poems first... And then that 'registered' man who looks nothing like you. Name change? I don't know. Probably not necessary. Just keep bringing a good name to your name.
