You all may be right,

I may be wrong,

But I won't know,

If I just go along.



Everybody just stop yelling at me,

I'm so very confused,

Everyone’s lecturing me,

I truly don't know what to do.



Just give me some space,

Give me some time,

If I make a mistake,

I'll be just fine.



I'm not being stubborn,

I know that you all care,

But I can't think straight,

With everyone constantly there.



I'll be okay,

Just let me breathe,

I know you are all filled with love,

But everybody is smothering me.

So just give me some time,

To think everything through,

To figure out who I am,

Because I don't have a clue.



But when I find out,

The one true me,

You better accept who I am

And just let me be me!
