Neuron

why should i stare anymore into oblivion

nothingness looks back

stirring my soul, a tempestuous mix

if only these points of light could speak silent

returning my empty gaze

peace would fill stolen spaces inside

yesterday came with no arrival

the promise dwindles

no longer do i recall

but that it was

once upon a time

an echo of a covenent handed down

through generations of thought

neurons dancing in

sleek abandon of time

tomorrow comes swift on dragon’s wings

ushered to its seat to stand the test

only what will follow could last longer

sand gives way to stone washed away

the shore redeemed in shells

just a worthless promise wrapped in beauty

there’s no room for truth

in modern living

it’s all zen, balanced neutrality

the west and hitler with everyone between

an echo of a covenent handed down

through generations of thought

neurons dancing in

sleek abandon of time

so sit and commit mental suicide

the preferable consumer

violently docile

with a fast acting inhaler of monotony

ready to lash out against the viral outside

with threats disguised in pretty words

the banner flies with colors of disgrace

the fire inside burns down the whole place

the patriots switch spots with the prisoners

and they lock each other away

loud at night til it’s quiet all day

layin a trap to see who’ll obey

the man on the right swaps lies with the other team

and they help each other to play
