It seems too sudden.

Surrounded,

the darkness pours in

thick. Cover. Open wide.

We are swallowed whole.

Fear begets submission.



Falling weightlessly,

the bottom receives me.

Every demon down this hole;

wolves in sheep’s clothes.



The Ancient calls to me.

Who could I be?

Unworthy of this holy gift

gladly accepted within.



Cry out unto me.

Receive your grace.

Tear open your heart

and there I shall stay.

Walk with me and live.



The end of days has come to pass.

A new age joins the dance.



Discard everything you knew before

you will know the truth

hidden among the lies.

Discard everything you were before

poor foundation dust

the rock will not falter.



All you need is faith

and the remains will

be taken care of

just believe

Breathe the word of your spirit

conquer the air of this world.



When every decision is made for you

you’ll still have a choice.

When everyone is blind and lost

you’ll still have a voice.



Don’t let them take your soul away;

don’t give them the power.

Soon a kingdom is coming;

this is the hour.



An offering given

to pay our ransom

blood of the lamb accepted.

Follow his ways and be free;

break from your slavery.



Shine, shine, shine . . .

Scatter the darkness

Won’t you shine

Beacon to follow

Come on shine

Bring forth your light

Forever shine

Break through the night
